In most cases, the bearings of the lifting screws can be rehabilitated. Only in the rarest cases the complete bearing (including bearing bracket and drive shaft) has to be replaced.
As a rule, it is sufficient to replace the bronze bushing or the roller bearing. Shafts can be welded on and reworked.
