Impressive presentation of the new Rehart fish migration screw (FAS)

At the 18th International User Forum for Small-scale Hydropower in Schaan, Liechtenstein RehartPower gave an impressive presentation on the new Rehart fish migration screw (FAS). More than 200 specialists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland got together to discuss various topics affecting small-scale hydropower stations.
“This event was the ideal platform to present our new development to a wide range of specialists,” explained Christian Habermann, Division Manager for Hydropower at Rehart. “Alongside the mere technical facts we were able to point out the impressive increase in the fish ladder movements we had monitored at our pilot plant in Pilsing, Austria, which sparked off a lively discussion among the visitors.”

The Rehart FAS is a cost-effective alternative to the classic fish ladder. It is assembled directly next to the hydropower screw and offers fish and other living creatures an easy way of reaching the upstream waters.

More information on FAS can be found on our website RehartPower.

The latest edition of our company magazine, DIALOG, also reports on our fish migration screw (FAS) along with other interesting topics.
